“Life begins at 20″

Today (June 10), I turned 20. Yehey!!
It’s hard to forget this day because many things have happened today. I sort of ‘experience’ different sides of life.

First, birthday ko ngayon. A decade has passed. New life begins. Second, I saw a wedding. Well actually, galing ako school at dadaan lang dapat ako sa simbahan for a short prayer. But then, there was a wedding going on, so hindi na ako pumasok. I rather pray sa mas tahimik na lugar. And if you come to think of it, a wedding means new life too. Lastly. Pumunta ako sa lamay ng isa kong lolo (my father’s uncle) sa Cavite. Death, as many people believe, leads to a new life. June 9 namatay ang lolo ko…heart attack. Our pet dog died on the day of my birthday. Hmmm… interesting isn’t it? …unforgettable.

When I get 30, I’ll just reminisce this day as the day I started my 20’s.

Teenager

Right now, I’m savoring my last few days of being a teenager. That’s right. I’m turning 20! (Isang linggo na lang…) I’m still thinking of a way on how to end my last “teen” days but so far, wala talaga akong maisip. Won’t see DVC on its opening day

After our “graduation” from Accenture Education Program (OJT), we hang out at Absynth. Nag-inuman, nagparty etc. Sila sumayaw. Ako hindi. I don’t see myself dancing. Hindi ko nga mainitindihan kung ano ang masaya sa pagsasayaw e. Kaya sinimot ko na lang ang Red Horse at San Mig Light sa table kaya for the first time in my life, nalasing ako. Ganun pala ang feeling ng nalalasing. Mapapasuray-suray ka talaga sa kalye. Malapit-lapit na nga ako mag-vomit sa bus, but I configured my brain in such a way na dapat sa bahay na ako susuka. Kaya tinulog ko na lang. Buti na lang nakauwi ako ng maayos. Actually, nagda-doubt pa rin ngayon ako kung buhay pa ako o hinde e. Baka nasagasaan na pala ako, hindi ko pala alam na patay na ako tapos nagbla-blog pa ako dito. Anyway, pagdating ko sa bahay, surpisingly 1/4 cup lang ng vomit ang naproduce ko and then I feel much better. And then after 3 hrs of sleep, May 18 na!! Da Vinci Code Day na!

The Da Vinci Code IS the most anticipated film of the year…at least for me. And of course, when you consider a film like this, you have to make sure that you are going to see it on its first day of release. And being a movie buff, ~~I’m willing to give up my life just to see (haha ang drama)~~I have to make sure that I’m going toÂ see this movie on May 18. Read more »

Siguro next post ko, movie review na ng Da Vinci Code…unless matuloy nga yung petition na ma-i-ban. Baka magprotesta ako. Basta pag ginanahan lang ako magblog at kung may time…yun lang yun…hehe.

Masyado na akong naaalarma dahil 2 weeks nanaman akong walang bagong entry. Kundi lang ako ni-tag, hindi ako makokonsesyang mag-update. Hindi na nga rin ako nakakapagbloghop e.Ano nga bang meron? Gusto ko na talagang lumipat sa Wordpress blog ko kaya lang mahirap mag-export sa blogdrive.Dahil ngayon ay Holy Week, gusto kong magsulat ng tungkol sa religion, morality, doctrines and stuff. Pero next time na lang. Hehe…Ang entry na ito ay wala lang. Gusto ko lang sabihin sa lahat na next week, magsisimula na ang climax ng college life ko. Kumbaga sa movie, eto na yung best part (?). BACK TO BLOGGING

I’ve been very busy in school this past few weeks dahil sa lecheng thesis na yan. Ngayon lang kasi namin nalaman kung gaano ka-compplicated ang study na ‘to. At yung mga panels namin, “tinutulangan daw kami” na “i-purshue” ang study pero sa totoo lang, lalo lang kami pinapahirapan. Kaya yun, naistagnant na ang blog ko. Kundi pa nawalan ng pasok nung Feb 24, hindi pa ako makakapag-entry nun e. Anyway i-summarize ko na lang siguro in this one long entry para masaya.Surprising talaga yung win ng “Crash” sa Oscars. Na-curious tuloy ako at pinanood ko sa VCD agad. Well, maganda naman talaga yung movie but I still have to see Brokeback Mountain before telling which one is better. Okay naman si Jon Stewart as a host at naawa naman ako sa Star Wars dahil nag-iisang nomination nila (Make-up), natalo pa sa Narnia. Ni hindi nga nominated sa Visual Effects category e. Of all the movies nominated in the Oscars, siguro ang mga balak kong panuorin ay yung “March of the Penguins” because I heard it’s a very great documntary, Tsaka syempre yung Brokeback Mountain at Wallace and Grommit. Wala akong intention panuorin ang mga biopics. Eh, pakialam ko naman kasi kung sino si Truman Capote? Tsaka hnde ko rin kilala si Johnny Cash at yung journalist na portrayed sa Good Night and Good Luck.

Two weeks ago, nag-try akong mag-switch sa Firefox for one day. Syempre, before that, nagdownload muna ako ng extensions para may Opera-like features din. Ang nangyari, hindi ako nag-survive. Balik Opera pa rin ako. Ewan ko nga kung bakit more people are using Firefox e kahit na halos walang feature ang FF except tab-browsing upon initial download. Read more »
