“ARROVO” BILL and MOANING MYRTLE

Magbabayad na sana ako ng pamasahe sa bus tapos naalala ko na may kumakalat na P100-bill na na-misspell yung name ni GMA as “Arrovo”. Pagtingin ko sa P100 ko, “Arrovo” nga! Balak ko ipakita sa iba kaya sabi ko sa konduktor “teka lang” kasi papalitan ko ng ibang bill yung pera ko.

Pagdating sa school, pinagkaguluhan na yung P100 ko. Suggestion ng iba na ibenta ko daw sa ebay. At dahil kailangan ko ng pera (actually 100+ na lang pera ko), pumunta agad ako sa ebay.ph at grabe…ang daming nagbebenta ng “Arrovo Bills”. Meron isang bid for P3,333.00 for a single P100-bill! At meron pang 100 pcs for P20,000! [link] Wow. Pwede…

Itatago ko na lang muna. Konti pa lang yung nagbi-bid e. Palalakihin ko muna yung value. Malay mo, in ten years P20,000 na ito. Kaso nga lang 10 years pa yun. Eh kailangan ko nga ng pera di ba? Bahala na. Look at the case of Inverted Jenny. Mali yungpagkakaprint sa stamp. Na-invert kasi yung biplane. Eh 100 pieces lang nun ang nagsurvive ngayun kaya $150,000 na yung price.

Sana makakuha pa ako ng iba. Uulitin ko sana yung Harry Potter kasama yun sister ko e. Hindi ko naman magastos yung P100 ko…

Speaking of Harry Potter, napagalaman ko kanina na yung actress na gumanap kay Moaning Myrtle is already 40 years old! Can you believe that?? Isn’t that weird that a 40-year old actress playing a teenager? Galing di ba? If you’re still unsure, check her filmography at IMDB

WHAT’S WITH THE “H”?

Bakit kaya yung kapatid ko, pilit pinapahaba pangalan nya. Yung simpleng “Lian”, ginagawa nyang “Lheeyanne”.
Ewan ko ba sa mga babae. Gustong-gusto nila na may “H” yung pangalan nila, tapos lalagyan pa ng extra “N” at “E” sa huli para humaba pa.

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE MOVIE REVIEW

I’m glad to say that I’m not disappointed in this one. HP1 was okay. I haven’t read the book when I saw it. HP2 was awful. It’s the worst Potter film for me. And honestly, I was slightly disappointed in the first viewing of HP3. But then, the more I watch it [on DVD], the more I realize that the third Potter movie was the best of the three. In terms of storytelling and character development, Azkaban is far better than the first two. The Harry-Flying-With-Buckbeak scene is one of the best scenes IMHO. It is emotional and the music is great. Now comes the fourth in the series, The Goblet of Fire. Actually hanggang dito pa lang ang nababasa ko. Tingnan ko pa lang yung kapal ng book, tinatamad na ako e. Pero ok lang. The new movie condensed it into an almost 3-hour movie. That means a lot has been left out. I’ve already expected it so the changes are no big deal for me and I think the movie will survive even without Rita Skeeter. (Baka sa next book may important role pa sya)===MINOR SPOILERS===

RANDOM BLAH BLAHs

Hindi ko lang talaga ma-organize ang mga thoughts ko ngayun kaya ganito na lang uli:  

Kanina napa-usapan namin yung mga anime. Ewan ko ba kung bakit sa lahat ng mga teenagers ako lang yata ang walang hilig dun. Lalo yung mga anime ngayun. DragonBall at Ghost Fighter lang yata napanood ko e…tsaka yung mga Mojacko at Doraemon lang (anime ba ‘to?). Kasi panahon natin yung mga Sarah, Cedie, Julio at Julia, Tom Sawyer,Peter Pan, Mask Rider Black, Bioman, Voltes V, Takeshi Castle, Flying House tsaka yung cartoons na tungkol sa takore na may time machine. Eh ngayun, puro PC Games na uso. Pero di ko talaga trip yung mga anime ngayun like Naruto. I’m not even trying to watch it. Parang pare-parehas lang naman kasi. Tsaka parang feeling ko, napaka-immature ko naman kung tangkilikin ko pa yan. Parang pambata. Bumibili pa ng badge at nangongolekta ng mga CD ng anime. Well, kanya-kanyang trip lang yan kaya wala na akong pakialam sa iba. Kung masaya sila sa anime, ok lang, Wala naman akong magagawa e. Mabaliw na sila sa lahat wag lang sa Pinoy Big Brother (uy, first time ko yata binaggit ang show na ‘to sa blog ko a.)

LETTING THINGS GO

I’m planning to dump all my Lord of the Rings files in my hard drive. Not all, actually. Yung mga movies lang, the whole trilogy. It’s consuming 5.6GB. Sayang lang di ba? Di ko naman ginagalaw pero kuntento lang ako na nasa PC ko yun. Kaya lang naman nandito yung mga file na ‘to dahil may sentimental value na ito. Para rin tong kasing sentimental ng “Unang-love-letter-na-binigay-sa-akin” kind of thing.  

Syempre, alangan namang i-store ko to sa PC ko ng habambuhay, maybe it’s just time to erase those files. Meron naman akong DVDs, extended edition pa. Bibili muna ako ng 9 CDs para back-up para in case na gusto ko ibalik or biglang naging 120GB yung hard drive ko, pwede ko pa ibalik. I’ve already done this with LOTR trailers. Nagtira lang ako ng iba. Pero hindi ko pa rin buburahin sa PC yung libo-libo kung collection ng pictures, wallpapers, screenshots at soundtrack ng LOTR. Yung movies lang. It’s just a way of letting things go.

“ANG BUHOK-BUHOK MO!”

Yan ang laging sinasabi sa akin ng mga classmate ko pag wala silang ibang masabi sa akin…lalo na si Jong. Lagi kasi nilang napapansin yung mga balahibo ko sa arms. Ang dami kasi. Hindi naman actually makapal at kulot. Hindi naman ako namumukhang unggoy. Cute naman e. Hehe. Minsan nga binubunot nila e. Tapos pag may nakuha, mandidiri sila sa nakuha nila.
