NARNIA –> REMINDS ME OF MIDDLE-EARTH

Aside from King Kong, there’s another December movie that I’m anticipating. It’s an adaptation of C.S. Lewis’ Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. 

Unlike LOTR, I’ve heard of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe before. Bata pa ako nun, alam ko ginagawa na siyang musical play. Inisip ko dati, ano tong play na’to? About a lion, a witch and a stupid wardrobe? Duh? It doesn’t make any sense. Pero nung nakita ko ung trailer. WoW! Ganito pala ang kwento nun! Gusto kong basahin yung libro before watching it!

KING KONG TEASER TRAILER

Oh my God! The teaser trailer of Peter Jackson’s (director of Lord of the Rings, sino pa?) much anticipated remake of King Kong will be on the web Jun 27th! At buti na lang, ikakabit siya sa War of the Worlds! Saya-saya… 

I’ve seen the ad for this trailer news and it was amazing. It’s just a 3 second shot that shows Naomi Watts in front of an attacking T-Rex and then King Kong arrives! Pero paa lang ipinakita.

I have to prepare. It would be “another” best 2 1/2 minutes of my life! Sana ipakita rin yung Narnia Trailer.

POPULARITY

Songs like Superman by Five for Fighting, Rainbow by South Border, Passenger Seat by Stephen Speaks are some of the songs that I hate. Why? Because it’s so popular! Everybody loves it. Nagiging jologs na kasi kahit mga pulubi sa kanto ay alam yung kanta. Whenever I hear that song being played on the canteen or student lounge and then somebody will scream “OMG! Rainbow!”, “OMG! Peyborit ko! Superman!”…Bad mood na ako for the rest of the day. Hindi ko na kaya….

OF CHAIN LETTERS & etc…

Nakakaasar na ang mga chain messages/letters via email at lalo na sa YM! Lagi na lang ako nakakatangap ng mga forwarded na message na kesyoi magsasara na daw ang Yahoo at para malaman nila kung sino ang mga active users kailangan i-send nila ito sa buddy list nila.

“BAKIT GINAWA PA ANG PDF FORMAT?” at iba pang tech talks…

Hindi ko makita ang advantage ng PDF Format. Bakit kasi gumawa pa ang Adobe ng bagong document format e pwede din namang MS Word Document. Ano naman kasi kung Portable ang isang PDF(Portable Document File). Di ba portable din naman ang .DOC format? Ah! Ibig sabihin pala ng portable ay cross-platform. Pwede sa Mac, Windows, UNIX at iba pang OS. Eh sa mundo na Windows-dominated…walang silbi ang PDF. 

Nakakatamd tuloy i-open yung mga help files at documentations ng mga applications kasi isang minuto bago mag-open yung Acrobat Reader….amf!

A NEW NOVELTY SONG ON THE LOOSE

Lagi kong naririnig sa bus at jeep ang bagong kantang ito ng The Bodies(?). Ngayon naman, batuta naman ng pulis ang subject. Sobra na talaga ang mga novelty songs. Tapos pag kinwestyon yung song nila, ang isasagot nila “Wala po kaming ibig sabihin masama sa kanta namin. Nasa nag-iisip po yun kung may malisya ang kanta o wala” Duh? 

Ma-e-explain kaya nila kung bakit lahat ng kanta sa album nila ay may mga words na “malaki, matigas at mahaba atbp”? Wag nilang sabihing nagkataon lang…
