SANA MAKAPASOK SA MAGIC SIX

Eto na….magbla-blog na ako. Isang linggo rin akong di nakagawa ng entry dahil ilang araw (at gabi) na akong bangag dahil sa kaka-edit na film na ‘to. Pucha ba naman…10 minutes? Anong mailalahad mong kwento sa loob ng 10 minutes? Yung first edit ko…yung Director’s Cut…umabot ng 18 minutes so I have to delete several dialogues. Parang nawala tuloy yung “meat”. Tapos super bilis ng pacing. Paano malalagyan ng drama kung konti lang yung time mo mag-emote? Parang pilit tuloy yung drama. Well, I received positive feedbacks naman sa co-director ko. May chance daw kami makapasok. Negative feedback lang yun glack of character development…well what can you expect in a 10 minute film? Parang ayoko ngang tawaging film e…Igsi kasi e. 

BTW…this is the final VCD covers of the film. Simple lang pero at least catchy. Kasi yung bida namin sikat sa school. Lahat nakakilala sa kanya. Sa lead actor pa lang namin, pipilahan agad film namin….Sana nga lang makapasok sa finals….Made-depress ako pag hindi. Hindi na ako nag-aaral sa ibang subject para dito! Sana walang favoritism sa part ng mga judges…

Tomorrow…..tomorrow for sure….Ugh… :-)

STAR WARS EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SITH REVIEW

This is the best Star Wars film you’ll ever see. It’s the most action-packed
film in all the Star Wars prequels…I can’t find a way on how to write this
entry so I’ll start from the point where Chris and I where about to watch thefilm. I’ll just skip some other parts because I know Chris will tell these
things in his blog soon.

This is my first THX Cinema experience…To tell the truth, the THX Cinema disappointed me. Ewan ko lang kung marami lang talagang dumi yung tenga ko, pero I wasn’t impressed on the sound system of THX. Parang…”yun na ba yung THX? ” I was expecting na super lakas ng sounds as in you can feel it right in your seats. Gusto ko halos lumilindol na. I want more rumblings. But it turned out na sa first few minutes ko lang medyo naramdaman yun. Siguro yung THX Cinema sa G4
ang bulok. Siguro sa iba hindi.

“PALPAK ANG SCRIPT”

Nakakasama ng loob kapag yung script na pinagpuyatan mo para may maipresent kinabukasan ay hindi nagustuhan ng ibang scriptwriter. Pero MAS masakit sa loob kapag nilait pa yung script. 

Okay na sana sa akin kung hindi nila nagustuhan. Basta kung ano man yung ayaw nila, sila na lang ang mag-revise. Pero hinde e. Nilait pa. Ang kapal! Actually, hindi naman talaga ako scriptwriter…tumulong lang ako dahil gusto ko ng masimulan para matapos agad kami. And then ito namang nagrevise ng script hindi pumasok. Sana lang ginagawa nya yung script…kapag hindi pa rin….Bahala sila at i-shu-shoot na namin yung original script sa ayaw nila at gusto. Halos lahat nagshushoot na, kami na lang hindi. Next week na yata ipapasa yun….

Plot namin…fantasy kasi yung theme…it should be in 10 minutes
May isang student na laging pinagkakatuwaan lagi….Kinausap siya ng mga isda sa fishpond at bingyan sya ng magic tinapay. Nung kinain nya yung tinapay, nagkaroon ng isang malaking make-over sa sarili niya. Iba na siya magsalita, manamit at kumilos. But later on, he will discover na iba pala ang physical manifestation niya. Kaya pala hindi siya pinapansin kasi iba na pala itsura niya (played by another actor sa flashback)…tapos yun na…gets ba? Hindi ko maexplain mabuti e….Okay na sana sa isang scriptwriter to dahil may twist…ewan ko sa kanila….bahala na….Basta sana may script na para makapagshoot na…

BAD TRIP SA SCHOOL

WHAAAHHHH! Ako na yata ang pinakabobong estudyante sa Automata Theory! Bagsak nanaman ako sa Long Quiz. Pangalawa na to…Two more quizzes pa..pag binagsak ko pa yun…papakamatay na ako… 

Gaano ba ako kabagsak? 150 pts kasi lahat. Kahit 100 pts lang yun, bagsak pa rin ako..Huhuhu…how tragic. 2 lang yata pumasa. Halos lahat bagsak. Pero depressed pa rin ako kasi 57 lang ako! Inaasar nga ako ng mga barkada ko e. Ipinagdadasal nila na bumagsak ako sa subject para makaranas ako ng bagsak.

Feeling ko nga pag nakikita ako ng prof ko sinasabi niya sa sarili niya…”Eto nanaman yung napakabobo kong estudyante sa Automata”….nakakahiya tlaga…

Sa mga ganitong pagkakataon, we students always blame the teacher for that poor exam results…Pero in fact, sino ba dapat i-blame? Edi ang sarili…

REVISITING THE ORIGINAL STAR WARS TRILOGY

Showing na ang Star Wars sa theaters pero hindi ko pa pinapanood. Actually, hinihintay ko lang yung mangli-libre sa akin…si Chris. Hehe. At siyempre, hindi ako papayag na manonood ako ng Revenge of the Sith ng hindi handa. Dapat may necessary preparations. Read more »

THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT

I thank Chris for recommending this movie…  

 

 

This is an underrated movie. I don’t know why critics hate it. Maybe because Ashton’s acting wasn’t so convincing or they got dizzy over time travel scenes. This move got a rotten 34% on RottenTomatoes but got 7.6 in IMDB.

I have always like movies regarding time travelling and here you see the dangerous effect of it. E.g., if I came back to the time where my mother was supposed to meet my father for the first time and then I hinder it, maybe I’ll die. I may not have been born. Such small change in the past can change everything. That’s why it’s called the Butterfly Effect. It has been said that a single flap of a butterfly’s wing in Brazil can cause a tornado in Florida months later.

If you have a chance…go rent this movie…

RATING: 8.5/10
