13 BIG FISH OF THE SPOTLESS DOLL: DESTINATION LONDON (MOVIE REVIEWS)

Big Fish (9/10)
This is another story of a man who helped several people (think Magnifico and Amelie). But this one is told in different way. It is the story of Edward Bloom who tells fantastic stories of his experiences to his son. Who would believe in moving trees, a 15 foot tall giant and a super mega big fish that can’t be caught? His son doubts his stories so he investigates and found the truth beyond those stories.
This film is touching. It has humor, drama and romantic and magical moments. I’m not a big fan of Tim Burton’s movies because I don’t have a chance seeing all of it although Edward Scissorhands was great but I wasn’t able to see it completely when it was shown in cable.
Just keep an eye in a Vietnamese camp in the middle of the movie. The ventriloquist is talking in Tagalog! It goes like: “tsinatsansingan mo…basang basa sa pawis mo…hahaha…kala mo pawis yan…pagod na pagod na ako..ikaw wala ka bang sasabihin”

Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind (7/10)
Many people are saying that this is a great movie. A find it good but not that great. Maybe I wasn’t on my mood while watching it plus the fact that the DVD copy is horrible and the subtitles are stupid. Maybe if I watch it again. I might change my rating.
13 Going on 30 (7/10)
Naiyak yung ate ko sa dulo ng film na ‘to. Napaka-tragic ng sinapit ni Jennifer Garner buti na lang bumalik uli sa dati ang mundo niya..
Andito si Andy Serkis (who played Gollum), nakakatuwa siyang sumayaw. Pag-iniimagine kong siya si Gollum, natatawa ako.
TIP: Don’t ever buy the original VCD version of this movie. It’s horrible. Napakadilim. Kelangan mo pang itodo yung “brightness” ng TV para makita yung nangyayari lalo na pag madilim yung scene.
Doll Master (5/10)
I don’t get it…I don’t get the story….
I’m tired of Asian horror movies with loads of silly twist that leaves the audiences confused. They should try to make it simpler. And there are few ‘gulat’ moments. (My sisters have more ‘gulat’ moments than me).
Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London (3/10)
God! Why did I rent this movie! I know this is horrible…pero wala na talaga akong mahiram sa Video City!
