I decided to watch The Day After Tomorrow with Ailen yesterday sa Festival. It was Roland Emmerich’s new movie. He is the one who made disaster movies like Godzilla and Independence Day.

This movie, however, is a different one. Walang monsters at ailen…ehem…alien pala. Pero one thing is common——>NEW YORK CITY again! Wala lang. Wala na bang ibang madestroy kundi NY? Pero okay lang. It’s what Amercia deserves.

Anyway, before watching the movie, I chose between Shrek 2 and Day After Tomorrow (DAT na lang). I checked RottenTomatoes and I saw there that the movie was good. At that time there were 5 positive reviews and 1 negative reviews so therefore it’s good. But when I watched the movie, I just wonder how did it get such a high rating from the critics. When I came back to the house, I checked the site again, now the movie is “Rotten”….49% of the critics says that it’s good. Almost half. So I’m right. It was not good at all. Yes it’s entertaining. Loud and exciting. But for me it’s just a showcase of special effects. And the action scenes are not so good. The scientific explanations in the movie were quite convincing but tanung ko lang, ganun lang ba kabilis mag-change ng climate? In 2 days lang ata? At hindi man lang ako gaano na-encourage na pangalagaan ang nature kasi alam mo naman pure fiction kahit may scientific basis. E ano ngaun? Kelan pa ba yun mangyayari?

The movie was finished and I told myself, “Tapos na yun? Ayun na ba yung climax?” Bitin ako sa action. Ngaun napatunayan ko na hindi porke nabitin ka ay maganda ang movie. Just like Fellowship of the Ring na bigla na lang nag-fade-out.

Ako pa ang na-late sa meeting namin ni Ailen sa Festival Mall. We watched The Day After Tomorrow. Hindi naman ganun kaganda pero okay lang. Sana Shrek 2 na lang pinanood namin.

Bago kami nanood bumili muna kami sa McDo ng kakainin. And after the movie, chineck namin kung nandun nga si Kris Mendigo at yun nga nandun siya. Gusto nga lapitan ni Ailen kaso hindi niya kami napapansin. Kahit nagpapansin kami nang nagpapansin wala pa rin. Lumabas pa kami ng mall para lang masilip siya di pa rin kami nakita.

Aba si Ailen, mahaba na ang hair (ang buhok). Hindi pa nagpapagupit mula nang manood kami n ROTK sa ATC. Nakakatawa nga kasi hndi man lang niya pinapansin yung mga nagbibigay ng free sheet of paper na may pabango (anu bang tawag dun?).

All in all, masaya. Kahit may pagka-alienistic nga siya. At sana ma-try naming manood uli sa June 2 ng Harry Potter 3. Yun ay kung di namin kasama ang mga “brethren” namin…

Welcome! I’m just testing my new blog so I tried to write something here kahit walang kwenta. I’m in the school right now (MATH Lab). kami nga lang anng group na walang ginagawa kasi nothing was assigned to us. Kaya eto, gawa na lang ng blog. Nagsawa na kasi mag surf e. I tried to continue yung website ng Southridge Batch namin kaso walang softwares dito sa lab e. Gusto ko sanang i-download yung new trailer ng Harry Potter kaso nand2 nga ako sa lab. Pano ko naman ma-se-save yun?

Sana dumating na sa Video City yung VCD ng Return of the King….kahapon pa ako nagpapareserve but na-delay ang delivery….

marami akong midternm tomorrow kaya pinostpone ko yung meeting namin ni Ailen sana sa Festival para manood ng Troy. Kaso sabi ng prof ko sa Humanities pwede daw kami manood sa school sa Saturday para sa mga hndi pa nakakanood. Kahit pirated yung copy ok lang. Di naman ganun kaganda ang movie kaya ok lang sa pirated. Hehehe. Kaya namimili ako kung ano watch namin..Shrek 2 or Day After Tomorrow….Hmmmmm….Bahala na….

BTW, birthday ni Sir Ian McKellen (Gandalf, Magneto)  yesterday (May 25) and now he’s 65 years old!!!!

Wow. Ang dami ko na nasulat….I can’t believe it…..
